Now that you have committed to Benedictine University as a member of the class of 2030 and are working on finalizing your enrollment for the fall semester, you are ready to SOAR! Our Student Orientation and Readiness (SOAR) events are required of all incoming freshman students, and families are also welcome to join. SOAR allows you the opportunity to finalize key items in the enrollment process for the fall semester such as getting your parking pass or student ID and submitting any needed paperwork (i.e., health service forms, final high school transcript, etc.). In addition, SOAR serves as an opportunity for incoming freshman and families to engage with faculty, staff, and current students on key aspects to be prepared for the start of the fall semester and Welcome Weekend through our summer programming!

Bridge to BenU is a one-day, on-campus experience designed to help incoming first-year students successfully transition to Benedictine University. Through interactive sessions focused on college success, academic expectations, campus resources, pre-health pathways, math support, and writing assistance, students will gain the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to start their first semester strong. Bridge to BenU also provides an opportunity to connect with faculty, staff, and fellow students while becoming familiar with life at Benedictine University.
